Access & Login
Access request & login
- Raise a CIDM request to add yourself to the Active Directory (AD) group listed on your workspace diagram.
- After CIDM completion, use the V7 login portal to log in: https://darwin.v7labs.com/.
- Use Single Sign-on → type your workspace name (it is case sensitive) → enter your SSO details to log in.
- If you have trouble logging in, reach out to support via the Slack channel
#ext-ecdi-v7under gred.slack.com.
First-time login: limited access
- After you log on for the first time, you are given the
workerrole by default. - Reach out to the gCS Infra admin via
#ext-ecdi-v7under gred.slack.com to change theworkerrole toadmin. - The
workerrole has limited permissions. More details about roles: V7 user roles.
What is created during workspace setup
- To comply with Roche security policy, V7 reads files from S3 managed by the Roche AWS environment.
- During workspace setup, an S3 bucket is created with
<bucket-name>-stagingand<bucket-name>-prod. - Files are uploaded to staging, a virus scan is triggered automatically, and if there is no issue the file is copied to the prod bucket.
- V7 reads the file from the prod bucket.
Once you can log in and your files are in the prod bucket, continue to Dataset Registration.
Support channel
- Any access, S3, or other issue can be communicated to the gCS Infra admin team.
- They can be reached via the Slack channel
#ext-ecdi-v7under gred.slack.com. - Eventually this process will be replaced with a support ticket.
