V7 Onboarding

V7 (Darwin) is a hybrid-cloud annotation platform. Access is governed through Active Directory (AD) groups managed in CIDM, and login is done through Roche Single Sign-on.

Who can use it?

  • Members of Genentech or Roche who are assigned to a V7 workspace AD group.

Who is managing it?

  • The gCS Infra admin team (ACE Infra) operates the service and fulfils access requests.

Request access & login

  1. Raise a CIDM request to add yourself to the Active Directory (AD) group listed for your workspace (see the workspace diagram / your team owner).
  2. After CIDM completion, open the V7 login portal: https://darwin.v7labs.com/.
  3. Choose Use Single Sign-on, type your workspace name (it is case sensitive), then enter your Roche SSO details to log in.

If you have trouble logging in, reach out to support via the Slack channel #ext-ecdi-v7 under gred.slack.com.

First-time login: limited access

  • After your first login you are given the worker role by default, which has limited permissions.
  • Reach out to the gCS Infra admin via #ext-ecdi-v7 to change your worker role to admin.
